The Chuck and Kyle Show
January 24 @ 8:30 pm
Long-time Monterey Bay favorites Chuck Brewer (vocals, harmonica) and Kyle Kovalik (vocals, guitar) combine forces to bring you an evening of acoustic Blues, Folk, Rock and Americana. Always engaging, these two excellent musicians and performers are guaranteed to entertain. Raised on the Monterey Peninsula, Kyle Kovalik attended the Guitar Institute in Hollywood. Relocating to Seattle, he cut his teeth playing electric blues and rock on a plethora of stages in the Northwest. Always a fan of song-craft, Kyle wrote, recorded and performed with the Americana band Jackson Sundown, as well as adding guitar to many other artist’s projects. Currently back in his beloved Monterey, Kyle performs all over California, from LA to the Bay Area to the Sierras. His solo shows are full of fiery acoustic guitar, original songs and interesting covers. He can also be seen as half of the duo Two Rivers, featuring Richard Bryant, singer extraordinaire. If that isn’t enough, you can find Kyle playing lead guitar with the 5Star Band, as well as his new project Highway 68. Friday night, January 24 he appears at Cooper’s Pub & Restaurant with Eldorados front man Chuck Brewer.
Music starts at 8:30. There is no cover charge.
Free parking for locals in the Cannery Row Garage. Just show your driver’s license with a “939” zip code after 4:00 PM.
