Date: Saturday 17 March 2018
The Wild Turkeys return to Cooper’s Pub & Restaurant for an evening on the Patio on Saturday March 17 to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day. An old-school rock sound with an energetic, youthful vibe; that’s what characterizes the Wild Turkeys’ live performance. Covering classic rock standards from the 60’s to the 90’s, Rolling Stones to Judas Priest, the Wild Turkeys are less interested in breaking new ground as they are in treading familiar territory in a brand new pair of snakeskin boots. This is fun dancin’ music for the raucous bar crowd, nothing pretentious or artsy, just goodtime tunes that appeal to music fans spanning several decades. The versatility of Matt and Rob’s Strat/Les Paul dual guitar attack compliments the chugging rhythm of Jack’s bass and the steady syncopation of Greg’s skins, and James’ shot-and-a-beer vox round out the soulful energy the Turkeys are known for. Hailing from Salinas, Monterey and lands between, the Wild Turkeys are a high energy rock ‘n’ roll band.
Music starts at 8:30. There is no cover charge.
